On our recent trip to Kauai, we came across the most amazing passion fruit called lilikoi, which makes a delicious chiffon pie. Slightly sour and both sweet and floral. It’s intoxicating, just like the island. We couldn’t get enough, and we couldn’t stop saying lilkoi. It became our new word for when something was really really good. Like the ocean, the beach, the red red dirt the hot sun and sand and diving into pure blueness. This song makes me smile -enjoy a little piece of lilikoi!
